Class Description

Focusing on your intuition and trusting it to make a great quilt, we will explore some clever, intuitive design.  By working within a limited color palette and a few simple design parameters, no two quilts will look alike! We will learn tips for successful block construction based on my versatile acrylic template set.  Using negative space and your improv elements, we will add design principles to complete an efficient and effective overall design.

Level: Intermediate to Advanced Quilter

  • Deposit due with registration: $250
  • Workshop cost $995 (add tax for meal portion = $4.13)   (includes lunch Wednesday-Sunday, excludes lodging)
  • Material Fee: $25 Victory block acrylic template set
  • Workshop starts at 9am Wednesday September 16, 2020 and ends Sunday afternoon at 4pm
  • On site lodging available for an additional fee:
  • Lodging available Tuesday Night – Sunday Morning
  • Meals provided with Lodging: Breakfast is served daily  (noon meal provided with price of workshop)
  • Triple Occupancy $390 (lodging plus 5 meals)
  • Double Occupancy $545 (lodging plus 5 meals)
  • Single Occupancy $985 (lodging plus 5 meals)
  • Add additional nights to your stay for $50 per night
    (No meals served when class is not in session)

Important info:

Classroom and lodging space is limited to 12 students. Classes are available on a first come first served basis.

  • Deposits can be paid via Paypal on our website or via check with in one week of registering. Please complete above registration form, and complete the checkout process with your payment to hold your space. Deposits are non-refundable.
  • Five months prior to the workshop additional information about the workshop, supplies needed, and accommodations will be mailed along with an invoice for the balance due.
  • Balances are due four months before the first day of the workshop. A 10% charge will be added for late payments. Check payments are preferred for balances.  Credit cards are accepted but the fees assessed by the credit card company will be passed along to the student.
  • Students will receive a full tuition refund only in the event that Woodland Ridge Retreat cancels a workshop.
  • Participants are responsible for their own travel expenses, in which case travel insurance is recommended when coming by plane or train.
  • Sewing machines available for rental at $85 per week.
